Red Oak is one of the most popular and widely recognized hardwoods in North America, known for its open, prominent grain and warm pinkish-brown tone. With a Janka rating of 1,290, it offers excellent hardness and takes stain readily—from light naturals to deep ebonies. Red Oak is a timeless, versatile choice that pairs well with virtually any interior style, from traditional to transitional. Available in standard widths of 36”, 42”, 48”, 54”, 60”, and 72”—or specify a custom size—with an 11-1/4” depth that meets code.
