2" Riftsawn White Oak Signature Standard Thick Tread

Make a clean, modern statement with the 2” Riftsawn White Oak Signature Stair Tread. The Signature tread features a solid engineered core wrapped in a hardwood wear layer on all 6 sides—so you’ll never see edge grain, no matter the angle. Each surface is sanded smooth and finished to your specifications, with a refined 1/8” roundover on every edge. Riftsawn White Oak is cut at a 30–60° angle to the growth rings, producing a clean, linear grain with minimal ray fleck compared to quartersawn cuts. The result is a contemporary, uniform look that feels intentional and refined—ideal for modern and transitional interiors where consistency and restraint define the aesthetic. Like all White Oak, it offers excellent hardness (1,360 Janka) and takes stain beautifully. Available in standard widths of 36”, 42”, 48”, 54”, 60”, and 72”—or specify a custom size—with an 11-1/4” depth that meets code. Choose unfinished to apply your own stain or clear coat, or select a pre-finished option for a ready-to-install tread.
