Each surface is sanded smooth and finished to your specifications, with a refined 1/8” roundover on every edge. Walnut is one of the most coveted hardwoods in the world, celebrated for its rich chocolate-brown heartwood with subtle purple and gray undertones. Each tread showcases Walnut’s naturally striking grain, which varies from straight to wavy, lending every staircase a sense of warmth and luxury. At 1,010 Janka, Walnut is moderately hard and notably stable—resisting shrinking and warping—making it as practical as it is beautiful. Available in standard widths of 36”, 42”, 48”, 54”, 60”, and 72”—or specify a custom size—with an 11-1/4” depth that meets code.
