The Signature tread features a solid engineered core wrapped in a hardwood wear layer on all 6 sides—so you’ll never see edge grain, no matter the angle. Each surface is sanded smooth and finished to your specifications, with a refined 1/8” roundover on every edge. White Oak is the defining wood of modern interior design—its neutral, gray-tan tones and tight, straight grain complement everything from minimalist to mid-century aesthetics. With a Janka hardness of 1,360 and outstanding natural resistance to moisture, White Oak is exceptionally durable and stable. It accepts a wide range of stains, from blonde naturals to deep charcoals, making it one of the most versatile species in our collection. Available in standard widths of 36”, 42”, 48”, 54”, 60”, and 72”—or specify a custom size—with an 11-1/4” depth that meets code. Choose unfinished to apply your own stain or clear coat, or select a pre-finished option for a ready-to-install tread.
