Each of the 6 sides is sanded smooth and finished to your specifications, with a refined 1/8" roundover on every edge. American Cherry is prized for its warm, reddish-brown heartwood that deepens and enriches with age and light exposure-a natural patina that makes every staircase more beautiful over time. With a smooth, fine grain and moderate hardness (950 Janka), Cherry strikes the perfect balance between workability and durability, accepting stain beautifully or standing on its own with a clear finish for a timeless, elegant look. Available in standard sizes of 36" x 36", 42" x 42", and 48" x 48"-or specify a custom size. Choose unfinished to apply your own stain or clear coat, or select a pre-finished option for a ready-to-install landing platform. Matching stair treads are available to complete your staircase.
