Each of the 6 sides is sanded smooth and finished to your specifications, with a refined 1/8" roundover on every edge. Hard Maple is one of the densest domestic hardwoods available, boasting a Janka rating of 1,450-making it exceptionally resistant to dents and wear. Its creamy white to light tan color and subtle, consistent grain pattern create a clean, contemporary look that works beautifully in modern and Scandinavian-inspired interiors. Hard Maple accepts stain evenly and is an outstanding choice for high-traffic staircases. Available in standard sizes of 36" x 36", 42" x 42", and 48" x 48"-or specify a custom size.
