2" Thick Stair Tread - Butcher Block

Upgrade your staircase with the handcrafted character and tactile depth of a solid butcher block tread — at a lean, low-profile 2" thickness. The 2" Butcher Block Stair Tread is constructed from solid hardwood strips laminated edge-to-edge, revealing a tight, linear grain pattern across the full walking surface. This construction method produces a tread that is structurally rigid and exceptionally stable underfoot, with a 1/8" roundover on every edge completing the refined, finished look.

The 2" profile is the clean, low-profile choice — ideal for modern staircases where a slender material presence is the design intent, and where the tread should feel intentional rather than imposing.

Select your wood species from the dropdown. Each species has its own grain character, tonal range, and finish behavior — from the dramatic color variation of Hickory to the fine, consistent surface of Hard Maple, the classic warmth of Red Oak, or the defining neutrality of White Oak. Paint Grade and Poplar options are available for painted finishes. All species are available unfinished or pre-finished.

Standard widths from 36" to 72", 11-1/4" depth meets stair code. Custom sizes available. Matching landing platforms available upon request.
