Each of the 6 sides is sanded smooth and finished to your specifications, with a refined 1/8" roundover on every edge. Walnut is one of the most coveted hardwoods in the world, celebrated for its rich chocolate-brown heartwood with subtle purple and gray undertones. Each landing showcases Walnut's naturally striking grain, which varies from straight to wavy, lending every staircase a sense of warmth and luxury. At 1,010 Janka, Walnut is moderately hard and notably stable-resisting shrinking and warping-making it as practical as it is beautiful. Available in standard sizes of 36" x 36", 42" x 42", and 48" x 48"-or specify a custom size.
