The 3½” Riftsawn White Oak Signature Stair Tread is a showstopper—thick, solid, and finished to perfection on all 6 sides. The Signature tread’s engineered core is wrapped in a hardwood wear layer on every face, ensuring you see only the beautiful grain of your chosen species—never edge grain. A 1/8” roundover on every edge delivers a smooth, polished transition. Riftsawn White Oak is cut at a 30–60° angle to the growth rings, producing a clean, linear grain with minimal ray fleck compared to quartersawn cuts. The result is a contemporary, uniform look that feels intentional and refined—ideal for modern and transitional interiors where consistency and restraint define the aesthetic. Like all White Oak, it offers excellent hardness (1,360 Janka) and takes stain beautifully. Available in standard widths of 36”, 42”, 48”, 54”, 60”, and 72”—or specify a custom size—with an 11-1/4” depth that meets code. Choose unfinished or pre-finished to your specifications.
