Its 1-1/4"" plow groove along the underside accommodates standard wood balusters, making it the natural complement to traditional and transitional stair designs. The 6000 is manufactured from two pieces of solid hardwood face-glued together, achieving the finished profile height while maintaining the tight grain consistency of carefully matched boards.
