Our 5/32″ stainless steel cable is 316 Stainless Steel with high corrosion resistant properties. Although considered “Marine Grade,” Viewrail only uses Rod Railing or Glass Railing for coastal projects, or projects within 10 miles of the coast.
Our cable comes in 1√ó19, which is 19 single cables wound into a single cable. When purchasing bulk footage of cable, we highly recommend using our cable railing installation kit including our cutters to give a clean cut to the cable railing wire, which allows fittings to easily slide over the ends. Viewrail cable railing is 316 Stainless Steel made for interior and exterior installation.
316 Stainless is a high grade of stainless used in architectural applications in both interior and exterior environments.
