Line posts do not require cable‑end fittings — the cable passes straight through.
The level line post is the post that's located in the middle of a railing run. It's job is to hold the cable in a line and provide structural support. There is no tensioning hardware necessary for the post.
This answer will depend on how many feet your railing run will span. To be up to code A railing post is required every 4 feet. This means that if you divide your railing span length by 4 you'll have the ALMOST correct amount of posts. Because every project requires TWO end posts. You will subtract this 2 from this number every time. For example 20ft / 4ft = 5, 5 - 2 end posts = 3 line posts.
There is no current support for level posts to be connected to stair posts. If you would like to have both a stair & level system contact our team for our custom solutions or purchase a stair & level run separately.
Viewrail's express post system is excluded from the Viewrail Coastal Products Warranty Program. Stainless and Aluminum make contact in a salty environment a galvanic reaction occurs accelerating corrosion. Because of this, Viewrail has created a coastal specific solution which provides a long-lasting and low maintenance railing system for coasts.
