Frequently Asked Questions
While Viewrail offers installation services in the lower 48, FLIGHT Mono can be installed by customers. Our other FLIGHT models (cantilever, stack, spiral) currently require Viewrail professional installation to ensure proper safety, performance, and warranty coverage.
FLIGHT stair systems are engineered to meet IRC (International Residential Code). requirements and can be reviewed for IBC (International Building Code) projects. We can provide engineering documentation when requested. If project-specific calculations are needed, we can provide those at additional cost.
A Floating stair is a modern stair system where the treads appear to "float" without visible structural supports. The structure is hidden or minimal, creating an open, contemporary look
We offer a variety of premium hardwoods, including: White Oak, Hickory, Red Oak, Walnut, and more. Each hardwood can have multiple finish options. Treads are custom-made to your stair specifications.
