2" Thick Stair Tread - Signature

The 2" Signature Stair Tread is crafted from solid hardwood to a full 2" thickness, with all 6 sides sanded smooth and a 1/8" roundover on every edge for a finished, architectural look.

The Signature tread presents the face grain of your chosen species — broader, more expressive, and more characterful than edge-grain butcher block — making it the natural choice for traditional, transitional, and warm-modern staircases.

Select your wood species from the dropdown. Each species brings its own grain figure, tonal range, and aging character — from Cherry's slow, rich patina to White Oak's modern neutrality, Walnut's deep luxury, or Hickory's bold drama. Quartersawn and Riftsawn White Oak options are available for enhanced figure and dimensional stability. All species available unfinished or pre-finished.

Standard widths from 36" to 72", 11-1/4" depth meets stair code. Use our Custom Tread Builder to customize everything down to the 1/4". Matching landing platforms available upon request.
