5600 Hard Maple 5ft

The handrail is the most-touched element of any staircase — and the 5600 Handrail treats it accordingly. The 5600 is the shaped handrail — distinguished by its flat bottom and gently rounded top, a cross-section that settles naturally in the hand and provides an intuitive, comfortable grip on every pass. At 2-5/8" wide and 1-7/8" tall, it carries enough visual mass to feel substantial without reading as heavy.

The radius top softens the profile's presence, bridging traditional craftsmanship and contemporary application — at home on baluster-based stairs, cable and rod railing systems, and wall-mounted installations alike. The 5600 is manufactured from two pieces of solid hardwood face-glued together, allowing the distinctive radius top to be shaped with precision and consistency across the rail's full length. Designed for interior use.
