Surface Mount Talon Spigot

Anchor your glass railing directly to the surface of your deck, patio, or balcony with a spigot that balances visual presence with structural performance. The Surface Mount Talon Spigot mounts to the top of the walking surface using four fastener points in its base plate, creating a stable, code-engineered foundation for glass panels and allowing the glass planes to appear to float above the floor with minimal visible support.

Machined from high-grade 6061 aluminum with two 316 stainless steel rods pressed into the body for added rigidity, the spigot is anodized before the rods are fitted and then powder coated as an assembly — ensuring lasting corrosion resistance at every layer. It accommodates both 1/2" and 9/16" glass panels using an adjustable pressure plate that creates an extremely strong connection. Two Talon Spigots support one glass panel, and each spigot comes with a foot cover included. Mounting screws are sold separately.

Choose between High Performance Powder Coat for non-coastal projects or Superior Performance Powder Coat for extreme and coastal environments. The Surface Mount Talon is ICC-certified when installed per Viewrail specifications — the only spigot of its kind in North America to carry that certification.
